My 2011 Christmas brought me several reflections...

First: I am really an adult now. I was stunned with this reality after seeing my oldest "inaanak" who happened to be my cousin. Chin-Chin, the way we call her, just turned 16 last November. This means that I attended her Christening or Dedication when I was 10. Two years to go and she'll be of legal age. Time flies so fast!!

Second: The best Christmas is knowing that you have a family. I am very much thankful to God coz I have a wonderful relationship with the people He has given me. Mababaw na kung mababaw pero sobrang thankful ako. No million dollar or any currency can buy the precious moments I've spent with my family. They are my treasure! And I am taking good care of that treasure. :)

Third and lastly: The best Christmas gift is Jesus. I've been hearing and hearing the Christmas story since I was a child. And until now, I am still amazed of how God wrapped His wonderful son, Jesus, as a gift to us humans. God has so loved us that He doesn't want us to walk around in this troubled world all alone. He gave us His beloved Immanuel, meaning "God is with us." Therefore Jesus is with us! Amazing!!

I therefore conclude that Christmas is a good time to reflect. :)
